Avengers Assemble has broken all previous box office records by taking over $200 million at the US box office on its opening weekend, but that figure is dwarfed by the true cost of the Avengers battle of Manhattan, were the Avengers to be real life superheroes!
Yes, that’s right! If the battle in Manhattan against Loki and his alien pals was real, experts have estimated the real financial costs involved.
That Hulk is a clumsy oaf! Check out the estimated costs from damage experts Kinetic Analysis Corp, totalling over $160 billion (£99 billion).
Physical damage to Manhattan $60-70 billion (£37-43 billion).
Clean-up costs $90 billion (£55 billion)
This fictional estimate of the Avengers battle doesn’t include loss of lives, so the figure would go right beyond $160 billion….ouch.
With such a huge pay-out, you can imagine insurers would be checking their small print. With the battle being against Loki (a Nordic Deity), they would probably use their ‘act of God’ trump card!
You can get your hands on an Avengers Assemble Colantotte MagTitan Neo Legend Magnetic Therapy Bracelet as worn by Tony Stark in the film HERE.
You could even win one as we are giving away one every Friday on the Trion:Z facebook page for the next three weeks!
You can see some of the Avengers battle damage to Manhattan in the trailer below. If you have seen the film, enjoy this reminder of a true great. If you haven’t seen Avengers Assemble yet, you need to!

As alternative medicine methodology, acupuncture originated in ancient China as a means of treating patients by manipulating thin needles into acupuncture points in the skin.
The World Health Organisation recognises that there are approximately 400 acupuncture points located around the body which will affect a specific organ or another part of the body.
According to traditional Chinese medicine, by stimulating these acupuncture points with needles, imbalances within the body can be corrected.
There is a general consensus in the world of health and medicine that acupuncture is safe and relatively risk-free when administrated by a trained practitioner using sterile needles.
Similar to acupuncture, magnetic therapy dates back thousands of years and is another alternative medicine practice which involves the use of static magnetic fields.
But can these two ancient alternative medicine practices of magnets and acupuncture be combined to create greater effectiveness and efficiency to patients?

Previously known as manic depression, bipolar is a disorder that affects both men and women equally. A bipolar sufferer has severe mood swings, going from periods of very good moods, to suddenly swinging into bad moods and depression.
The exact causes of bipolar are unknown but symptoms usually start to occur when a person is typically between the ages of 15 – 25.
According to PubMed Health, the symptoms of bipolar disorder include: excessive sleep, poor judgement, inability to control temper, a lack of self-control, becoming easily distracted, excessive spending, promiscuity, binging of food, drink or drugs, hyperactivity, racing thoughts and talking a lot.
Other symptoms of bipolar disorder include elevated self-esteem, excessive energy, loss of appetite and weight loss or overeating and weight gain, lack of self-esteem, sleep problems, feelings of worthlessness and guilt, lack of interest in activities once enjoyed, thoughts of suicide and death.
Bipolar disorder treatment is often through prescribed drugs, including ‘mood stabilizers’, antipsychotic and anti-anxiety drugs, as well as antidepressant medication. If a sufferer does not respond to such prescribed medication, electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) can also be used as a form of Bipolar disorder treatment.
Although with one in 45 adults in the United States suffering from bipolar disorder, many are turning to less invasive and non-drug related treatments, such as magnetic therapy.
The latest form of magnetic therapy for Bipolar disorder treatment is Transcrannial Magnetic Stimulation.

We all suffer from bouts of lethargy and tiredness, feeling that all our energy has been cruelly zapped from us and wondering how we are going to make it through the day.
From drinking more water to eating more fruit, there is a seemingly endless amount of advice and literature about how to get higher energy levels and how to avoid the almost incapacitating post-lunchtime slump!
Amidst the literature on what zaps us from energy and how we can replace it, there is an increasing amount of reports surfacing about the negative effects computers can have on our energy levels. In giving out positive ions, computers are increasingly becoming blamed for our feelings of lethargy, a problem which could perhaps be resolved by wearing a magnetic bracelet.
Simply put, in wearing magnetic bracelets, which contain negative ions, the bracelet could give higher energy levels by counteracting the effects positive ions, found in the likes of computer screens, mobile phones and fluorescent lights, can have on us, including causing slumps in energy.
It is no secret that for the past couple of decades magnetic forms of therapy have become a multi-billion dollar industry in the United States alone. From alleviating insomnia, arthritis, joint pain and fibromyalgia to helping to treat back pain, sports injuries and improving an athlete’s performance, magnetic bracelets are now used by millions daily for a whole host of health conditions and ailments and are becoming an increasingly popular way to get higher energy levels.

Osteoporosis affects as many as 1 in 3 women and 1 in 12 men over the age of 50. This extremely common medical condition occurs when the bone tissue, which is being constantly renewed and replaced in the body, is broken down faster than it is formed.
Without having time to be formed, bones can become brittle and weak, thus increasing the chances of being fractured or broken.
Talking on a press release, Linda Edwards, director of the National Osteoporosis Society (NOS), a charity which is welcoming calls from the World Health Organisation for osteoporosis to be acknowledged as a major public health concern, spoke of how it now costs the NHS £5 million per day to treat people with fractures:
“As osteoporosis is now largely treatable and preventable, given the right public health strategies, this is nothing less than a scandal.”
As with all health ailments and conditions, prevention is always better than cure, and none more so than with osteoporosis. Read three alternative treatments for osteoporosis and prevention of this often painful and debilitating condition.
Get plenty of calcium and vitamin D
Research suggests that specific nutrients can be important to maintain healthy bones, two of which are calcium and vitamin D. to help prevent bone deficiency and osteoporosis ensure that you eat plenty of calcium-rich food such as almonds, cauliflower, salmon and dairy products. To get plenty of vitamin D into your system, be sure that you are exposed to regular sunlight.
Foods that contain high levels of phosphorus, such as alcohol and red meat such be consumed in moderation to optimise absorption of calcium and vitamin D.
Improve your posture
Whilst it may not be typically associated with osteoporosis, bad posture can result in bones losing their density and becoming more susceptible to fractures.
