The true cost of the Avengers battle of Manhattan? $160 billion!

Avengers Assemble has broken all previous box office records by taking over $200 million at the US box office on its opening weekend, but that figure is dwarfed by the true cost of the Avengers battle of Manhattan, were the Avengers to be real life superheroes!

The Avengers assemble in a destructed Manhattan

Yes, that’s right! If the battle in Manhattan against Loki and his alien pals was real, experts have estimated the real financial costs involved.

That Hulk is a clumsy oaf! Check out the estimated costs from damage experts Kinetic Analysis Corp, totalling over $160 billion (£99 billion).

Physical damage to Manhattan $60-70 billion (£37-43 billion).

Clean-up costs $90 billion (£55 billion)

This fictional estimate of the Avengers battle doesn’t include loss of lives, so the figure would go right beyond $160 billion….ouch.

With such a huge pay-out, you can imagine insurers would be checking their small print. With the battle being against Loki (a Nordic Deity), they would probably use their ‘act of God’ trump card!

You can get your hands on an Avengers Assemble Colantotte MagTitan Neo Legend Magnetic Therapy Bracelet as worn by Tony Stark in the film HERE.

You could even win one as we are giving away one every Friday on the Trion:Z facebook page for the next three weeks!

You can see some of the Avengers battle damage to Manhattan in the trailer below. If you have seen the film, enjoy this reminder of a true great. If you haven’t seen Avengers Assemble yet, you need to!

Get higher energy levels with magnetic bracelets

We all suffer from bouts of lethargy and tiredness, feeling that all our energy has been cruelly zapped from us and wondering how we are going to make it through the day.

higher energy levels

From drinking more water to eating more fruit, there is a seemingly endless amount of advice and literature about how to get higher energy levels and how to avoid the almost incapacitating post-lunchtime slump!

Amidst the literature on what zaps us from energy and how we can replace it, there is an increasing amount of reports surfacing about the negative effects computers can have on our energy levels. In giving out positive ions, computers are increasingly becoming blamed for our feelings of lethargy, a problem which could perhaps be resolved by wearing a magnetic bracelet.

Simply put, in wearing magnetic bracelets, which contain negative ions, the bracelet could give higher energy levels by counteracting the effects positive ions, found in the likes of computer screens, mobile phones and fluorescent lights, can have on us, including causing slumps in energy.

It is no secret that for the past couple of decades magnetic forms of therapy have become a multi-billion dollar industry in the United States alone. From alleviating insomnia, arthritis, joint pain and fibromyalgia to helping to treat back pain, sports injuries and improving an athlete’s performance, magnetic bracelets are now used by millions daily for a whole host of health conditions and ailments and are becoming an increasingly popular way to get higher energy levels.

Magnetic therapy for Fibromyalgia

Fibromyalgia is a medical disorder that is categorised by widespread chronic pain and other conditions, such as sleep disturbance, fatigue, difficulty swallowing, bladder and bowel abnormalities, joint stiffness, as well anxiety and depression.

What causes fibromyalgia?

Several theories of the causes of fibromyalgia have been reported although the exact cause is unknown. One theory is that the condition is caused by “central sensitization”, whereby patients of fibromyalgia have a lower threshold of pain than most because of increased sensitivity in the brain to pain signals. Other research has suggested that fibromyalgia may be caused by genetic predispositions, while another theory is that the disorder can be caused by acute stress. Although none of these theories are by any means conclusive.

What are the treatments for fibromyalgia?

As with most unexplained medical disorders, and due to the fact that fibromyalgia can consist of many different symptoms, there is no widespread accepted treatment or ‘cure’ for the disease, and treatment typically entails symptom management, medication, exercise and complementary medicine.

Magnetic therapy to treat hair loss?

Perhaps one of the lesser known reported benefits of magnetic therapy is the claim that this form of alternative therapy can help to treat hair loss. Not only this, but magnetic therapy has also been associated with restoring the colour of one’s hair.

treat hair loss

We explore how magnetic therapy can be used to treat hair loss and to improve the general look and condition of your hair.

According to Top Hair Loss Remedy, in moving electrons and ionizing oxygen atoms within the blood, a magnetic field restores our blood flow to a normal pH, and in doing so, improves the circulation of our blood.

Whilst the benefits of magnetic therapy are dismissed by many through a so-called lack of scientific evidence, it is commonly agreed in the world of medicine and hairdressing, that good blood circulation helps to keep the scalp healthy and the hair strong. In fact, the lack of blood flow to the hair follicles results in under-nourished and unhealthy hair with weak roots, which are susceptible to falling out.

In this sense, many, such as Dr. Shapiro’s Hair Institute, insist that poor blood circulation can be responsible for sever hair loss and even baldness.

“Your hair will shrink and die if it does not receive an adequate amount of blood, nutrients, lymph and oxygen,” says hair loss expert Dr. Shapiro.

“Blood reduction to the scalp can also occur due to high stress which causes muscles to tighten. This reduces the blood flow to the extremities of the human body such as head, feet and hands. The capillaries that feed the hair roots and follicles become constricted, which prevents the flow of blood,” continues Dr. Shapiro.

Magnetic therapy for aging skin

The anti-aging industry is a multi-billion dollar industry in which there are literally thousands of products available all promising eternal youth. Although unfortunately, as Rod Stewart once wrote in a song, “Youth’s a mask and it won’t last,” our skin takes a huge strain as the inevitable signs of aging creep up on all of us and there is very little we can do to stop it.

Magnetic therapy for aging skin

Although enough of this doom and gloom, we all want to look as young as possible right? And if you are tired of spending the best part of $100 on a face cream that has had no greater affect than a $5 one, you may be interested in hearing about magnetic therapy for aging skin.

According to Reiki practitioner, Jennifer Hogenkamp, magnets have shown to have various beneficial effects on the skin, such as restoring its natural tone and colour.

On her website, the Reiki practitioner talks about how environmental factors effects and damages the skin cells. A greater level of skin cell activity, including getting tissue fluids flowing again, regulating edema and congestion, decreasing the inflammation of cells, removing waste products, and reverting cell metabolism back to normal levels, can be achieved through magnetic therapy.

In simpler terms, magnetic therapy for aging skin, according to Jennifer Hogenkamp, “Opens the way for proper nutrients that were not getting to the cells,” and by doing so, “Has a positive effects on regenerating skin cells and smoothing lines, reducing inflammation (acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis treatments) or detoxifying”.

Asides promoting a greater number of nutrients to the skin and thereby helping to combat signs of aging, Ms Hogenkamp also informs that as magnetic energy produces the sleep hormone melatonin, of which high levels are necessary for adequate sleep, magnetic forms of therapy, such as wearing magnetic bracelets, can help us have a better night’s sleep – and we all know that ‘adequate sleep’ is a golden rule in our quest for beauty and youthful looking skin.
