Trion:Z the Carlsbad, California based maker of ionic/magnetic health gear for active lifestyles is enjoying an unprecedented increase in awareness and consumer usage across a growing portfolio of sporting categories. 2010 British Squash Open Champion Nick Matthew has announced his partnership with the Trion:Z team.
Despite first achieving a world top five ranking in October 2004, it was in 2006 that Nick Matthew made an indelible mark on squash history when, seeded six, he upset third-seeded Frenchman Thierry Lincou in the final of the British Open in Nottingham to become the first home-grown champion of the world's most prestigious event for 67 years! This year Matthew went on to claim the world-famous title for a second time - reaching the final in Manchester as the fourth seed and saving a match-ball in the fifth-game decider to beat fellow Yorkshireman James Willstrop in a 122-minute marathon, the longest British Open final this decade.
Commenting on the partnership Paul Hendry, Managing Director of Trion:Z UK said “Squash as a sport is particularly harsh physically making it a perfect arena for the proven benefits of Trion:Z. We are delighted to partner with Nick and look forward sharing in his future success.”
Nick joins a star-studded team of literally hundreds of athletes which includes rising international golf start Rory McIlroy, LPGA Tour icon Brittany Lincicome, Japanese golf prodigy Ryo Ishikawa plus England crickets James Anderson and Stuart Broad who wear Trion:Z products to keep their minds in focus and their bodies in balance, and to promote well-being. They claim the products improve their performance, sleep patterns and concentration levels, which in turn helps them compete to the highest standards, essential to any Athlete competing on the world stage.
