Leading brand Trion:Z, the California based maker of ionic/magnetic health gear for active lifestyles has developed a unique pink bracelet in support of breast cancer research. In an effort to "give back" the Company will offer a Pink Ribbon bracelet for sale on the web-site and through retail partners with a portion of sales being donated to The Darren Clarke Foundation to be used for cancer research.
The UK distribution company for Trion:Z UK are supporting this global initiative with £1 of each sale from UK sales being donated. It is estimated that 182,460 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in 2008 and over 40,000 will succumb to the deadly disease.
"Golf has been so good to us and unfortunately Darren Clarke, a member of the golf family lost his wife Heather to breast cancer in 2006 at the young age of 39 so we thought we could work together and perhaps make a difference" said Toru Kamatari, Trion:Z CEO. "Everyone knows someone who has had to battle cancer and this is a small first step that hopefully will grow into something that Darren Clarke and the employees at Trion:Z can be proud of" said Kamatari.
